Welcome to The AI Check
Why we built the first compliant AI workspace for regulated industries — and what it means for the financial services, legal, and healthcare teams who can't afford to get this wrong.
Every large bank, law firm, and health system has the same open question on their compliance roadmap right now: what happens when a regulator asks for records of our employees' AI usage?
Their archival vendor can answer for email. For Slack. For Teams. For Bloomberg. It cannot answer for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Grok. None of the incumbent compliance platforms were built for AI — they were built before AI had a compliance footprint worth archiving.
The AI Check is the platform that closes that gap.
What AIC is
AIC is an end-to-end AI compliance workspace. The Universal Bridge extension captures every conversation your employees have with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok. Each conversation is encrypted on the device with AES-GCM-256 before it leaves the browser. The ciphertext flows into a retention-enforced archive that compliance officers can supervise, legal teams can put on hold, and auditors can export in the format their regulator expects.
And because every byte is encrypted client-side with a key your organization controls, AIC the vendor cannot read your employees' conversations. Not for support. Not under legal compulsion. Not ever. The compliance model is the product.
Who AIC is for
Three industries drove the initial design:
- Financial services. SEC 17a-4 retention, FINRA 3110 supervision, FINRA 4511 recordkeeping. Every broker-dealer AI interaction archived, supervised, and exportable for examination.
- Legal. ABA Formal Opinion 512 requires attorneys to understand and govern their AI tools. AIC preserves attorney-client privilege via zero-knowledge encryption while giving the firm a defensible audit trail.
- Healthcare. HIPAA-compliant AI governance. Our DLP layer catches PHI patterns before a conversation ever leaves a clinician's browser.
What's next
This post is the first of a technical-writing program that will publish deep dives on the cryptography, the supervision workflow, the retention engine, and the deployment story for regulated organizations that can't tolerate a soft launch.
The short version for today: if your organization is using AI and your compliance program can't tell you what was said, to whom, and when — that's the problem we built AIC to solve. Request a demo and we'll walk you through how it works.
